“As an artist from Boston who journeyed to the DMV area, I sought to immerse myself in Black culture and join a vibrant community of Black creatives. My artistic journey is deeply rooted in capturing the essence of human emotions through my work. I love painting on a grand scale, typically around 36x48 inches, which allows me to capture intricate details and convey the depth of my subjects. I possess a unique ability to see and transcribe the many layers of a portrait onto a canvas. While we all share the same basic human features, it is the unique differences in these details that make each of us truly special."
